Sandy – ADOPTED!

Rescued November 14, 2025

Sandy was one of FIVE cats we took in from a situation where she and her fellow felines were being kept inside a small cage in the back of a car–together. Their owner was dealing with homelessness and didn’t want to leave the cats behind, but keeping the cats in the car that way was also not healthy. Sandy is very sweet, friendly and playful. She loves to be held and gives face rubs (kisses) freely. She’s very active and wants all the attention you can give her. She would love to have a kitty companion and may even tolerate a well-behaved dog and children. She is fully vetted, combo tested negative, spayed and litter trained. She’s estimated to have a 2023 birthday. She will need to keep her claws and be an indoor only cat. She uses her scratcher like a pro. Screening questions are a must and always in the best interest of the cat.

Felix – ADOPTED!

Felix is a BIG boy, who enjoys being the center of attention. He has been with us since June of 2022 (no fault of his own). We are hopeful the perfect family for him is reading this. He openly asks for pets by standing on his back legs and reaching up for you. He loves to lick your hands and arms while you pet him. He rushes over to see what you’re doing and comes eagerly when he’s called. He’s a super sweet boy with lots of personality. He loves playing and especially enjoys the laser pointer and a wand toy. He is a TREAT VACUUM and loves Greenies during “shnack time.”

When he was rescued from the side of the road as a 7-week-old kitten, he had a noticeable kink in his tail that seemed already healed or just the way he was born. He carries his tail in a funny little arc over his back.

Felix does have a grade 2 heart murmur that is causing him no issues. It is something to watch and make known to his new vet. His estimated birthdate is April 28, 2022. He’s been combo tested negative, vaccinated and neutered. Felix would do best in a home with existing cats or to be adopted with one of his foster buddies. He may be willing to adapt to a home with a dog and children, if introduced properly.

His Backstory: Felix was found by my husband, Allen. He and a friend were out for a run on a well-traveled highway when a scared, 7-week old kitten came barreling out of the tall grass of the side ditch, screaming for someone to pick him up. There were no other cats around and based on Felix’s level of gratitude for a person scooping him up, we suspect he’d been around people and was dumped. Screening questions are a MUST and always in the best interest of the cats.

Conan O’ Brien – ADOPTED!

Conan is a very sweet, kind of reserved boy and he’s been with us since April of 2022 (no fault of his own). We desperately want to see him find his own family.

He loves head scratches and lap time as well as playing. If I stoop to pet someone, you can bet he’s coming over, giving me a little chatter meow and asking to be next. He LOVES to be brushed. He would make a nice couch sitting buddy but still enjoys toys and being played with. He loves kittens and helped raise some of his fellow fosters. We estimate he was born sometime in 2019.

He’s been neutered, combo tested negative and is fully vaccinated and litter trained. Conan would do great in a house with other cats or to be adopted with one of her foster buddies. He is especially good pals with another foster kitty named Nero, and though they don’t appear to be bonded, they can often be found snuggling together. He may do ok in a house with a very chill dog and older children. His Backstory: He came from a tragic situation involving losing his caretaker, his home and his fellow felines.

SweetPea – ADOPTED!

This lovely calico was a barn cat at a location that was about to be sold. She had three kittens a few days before I collected her on April 14, 2021. She willingly took on three more kittens a few days later when presented with the orphaned newborns. She was a very good mom and continues to mother my remaining foster kittens. She herself isn’t much more than a kitten at approximately 2 years old. Her birthday is approximately September 13, 2019.

She loves her head and ears scratched, a good scratching post, and to chase ball toys. They’re her favorite and she’s quite the soccer player. She is also intensely playful with wand toys. She doesn’t care to be held (unless you do it JUST so), but also has never scratched me while I tried, only squirmed. The farm she came from had a small dog, but it’s been a long time since she’s been around one.

She is spayed and UTD on shots. She always uses the litter box, eats dry food and looks forward to her canned food at night. She’s been treated with Revolution and will have a fresh application before she leaves.
