Rescued November 14, 2025
Pikachu was one of FIVE cats we took in from a situation where he and his fellow felines were being kept inside a small cage in the back of a car–together. Their owner was dealing with homelessness and didn’t want to leave the cats behind, but keeping the cats in the car that way was also not healthy. Pikachu was a little nervous those first few days but was still purring and accepting of pets. He’s very friendly and playful, with an intense prey drive. He loves pets and will roll on his side and make biscuits while you pet him. He has significant anxiety surrounding being picked up. He is always a little head shy, but becomes very wary while being held. We’re working on it, but he may always have this issue. He may be okay with older kids and well-behaved dogs, as long as everyone can respect boundaries. He is fully vetted, combo tested negative, neutered and litter trained. He’s estimated to have a 2024 birthday. He will need to keep his claws and be an indoor only cat. He uses his scratcher like a pro. Screening questions are a must and always in the best interest of the cat.
