For most of my life, introducing cats meant opening the carrier, depositing the new cat in the litter box, and letting him and the resident cats sort out the rest.
Now, with the plethora of info on the internet, there is no excuse for that kind of trauma. I understand that method was problematic on many levels. In order to avoid a whole slew of potential complications, it’s best to follow methods laid out by cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy (or any other reputable cat expert).
